Hi there, we are Justin and Emily Fredrickson, the husband and wife team behind Fred’s! After a successful pop up from September - December 2025, we are back in a permanent capacity, operating in partnership with Gather in Harbert, MI. We can’t wait for you to try our pizza!

We decided to name our business “Fred’s” after Justin’s late father, who was regularly referred to as “Fred” or “Freddie” by those closest to him, because of our last name!

Most from Detroit would just call it pizza…it is pizza made on a rectangular airy, doughy crust. It has a crispy caramelized cheese edge referred to as “Frico” and the sauce is served on top, not under the cheese.

Fred’s is a fast casual spot serving Detroit style pizza in Harbert, Michigan. Our pizza menu will change monthly, playing to seasonality and showcasing adventurous topping combos we have come up with! Available for dine in and to go. The space we are operating out of has a full bar offering cocktails, beer and wine.

You can order online, over the phone or in person. For pick up orders, we encourage you to order online (since we might not always be able to answer the phone!) When you want to dine in or order in person, you will order at the register, take a number and we will run your food and beverage out to your table. If choose to sit at the bar, you will receive full service from the bartender.

If we have an extra ingredients, we add them to our cheese pizza as modifiers so you can “make your own”! We strive to offer unique and fun pizza flavor combos. We hope you will try one but understand how you might want to make your own.
